As the water cools a bit, go ahead and flip the wool over to work on the other side. You will notice that it has already become one piece.Continue rubbing the wool gently together until the water cools, using your fingers if you are able.
As long as you don’t pull holes into the felt, it is really hard to mess this up, and kids love this step.
