The Winner @volta show in NYC #volta @jillsylvia

My choice for winner of the Volta NY 2011 show. Artwork by Jill Sylvia: Magrorocca, Milan

One of my favorite pieces is this bit of ledger book with the cells cut out with an exacto-blade.
These holes are assembled together for another art piece on the other side of the booth.

Very cool wire sculptures that were found in Philadelphia (they are marked "anonymous").
The gallery will issue a catalog of the work later this year.

More from the Volta Art Show on 34th Street.

This is from the Fine Art Society (dealers since 1876) at 148 Bond Street London. The galleries at the Volta show feature one artist, so there are several similar pieces.

Smaller pieces by Rachel Whiteread that might actually fit inside your house.

There is another piece at the Volta show by Fabio Viale that looks exactly like
styrofoam that's actually made out of white marble. A milk crate that
was made of black marble looks indistinguishable from real plastic.

stainless steel box with different sized magnets, simply. They wrapped around corners nicely
